Mahdi
Manager
​Mahdi is a dedicated and passionate fencing enthusiast with extensive experience in the sport. He has served as the First Vice President of the Asian Fencing Confederation and as the Head of the Development and Public Relations Committee for the World Fencing Federation. In recognition of his significant contributions to the sport, Mahdi was honoured with the highest distinguished award from the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).


Anthony
Treasurer & Deputy Manager
Anthony is a dedicated member of our fencing club's leadership team, serving as both Treasurer and Deputy Manager. With a strong background in financial management and club operations, he plays a key role in ensuring our club runs smoothly and sustainably. Anthony is passionate about supporting the growth of fencing in our community and is always ready to help members. His commitment and reliability make him an invaluable part of our team.
Hadi
Coach
Hadi has a rich history in fencing, with over 15 years of experience as a coach in Australia. He has earned 42 international medals across prestigious competitions, including the World Cup and Asian Games. His most recent achievement for Australia was securing second place at the Asian Competition in Hong Kong.


Cathi
Kids’ Coach
Cathi is one of Fencity’s passionate sabre coaches and an experienced competitive fencer. She has earned multiple national medals and represented Australia at international events in New Zealand, London, Hong Kong, and Bahrain, bringing home gold and silver medals along the way.
Cathi is an accredited coach and currently leads Melbourne’s only veteran women’s sabre group. She also coaches juniors, beginners, and adult social sessions, always focusing on building skill, confidence, and a love for fencing.
Dr. esan

​Esan has a rich history in fencing, with 22 medals in World Cup and Asian competitions. He made history as the youngest medal holder in Asia. Esan has gained extensive experience working in the UK and even signed a contract with the Qatar Fencing Federation. He has recently relocated to Australia to continue his contributions to the sport.


Seth
Kids’ Coach
Seth is a up and coming sabre fencer apart of the Australian High Performance program, representing Australia in the junior and soon to be Senior men's Sabre categories at international competitions around the world. He has also trained in places in different countries such as Korea and Singapore and trained with other national teams, garnering experience from different fencing programs worldwide.
Dr. Maria
Nutritionist
Maria has extensive experience in the field of medicine, with a strong understanding of both modern and traditional medicine. She has worked as a nutritionist for several athletes, primarily focusing on bodybuilders preparing for fitness competitions. Maria combines her medical knowledge with specialised nutritional guidance to help athletes achieve peak performance and maintain optimal health.
