Welcome to FenCity Fencing Club. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website, services, and membership. By accessing and using our services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must refrain from using our services.

2. Membership

  • Eligibility: To become a member of FenCity Fencing Club, you must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian if under 18.

  • Membership Requirements: As a member, you are required to provide accurate and complete information during registration and maintain updated details on your profile.

  • Membership Fees: Membership fees are due annually or as specified in your membership agreement. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing.

3. Services and Fees

  • Training Programs: FenCity Fencing Club offers various training programs, events, and memberships. The fees for these services are outlined on our website or communicated with our team.

  • Payment Terms: All fees must be paid in full before participation in any classes, events, or other services. We accept various forms of payment, including credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.

4. Code of Conduct

  • Behavior Expectations: All members must conduct themselves respectfully, both inside and outside of the fencing venue. Discriminatory, violent, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or termination of membership.

  • Safety: All members must adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate equipment during training and competitions. Failure to do so may result in immediate removal from the session.

5. Liability Waiver

By signing up for FenCity Fencing Club, you acknowledge that fencing, like all sports, involves inherent risks. You agree to participate at your own risk and release FenCity Fencing Club from any liability for injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during training or events.

  • Medical Consent: You must inform us of any medical conditions or special requirements before participating in any activities.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the FenCity Fencing Club website (and other social platforms), including but not limited to images, text, logos, and branding, is owned by FenCity Fencing Club or its licensors. You may not use any of our content without express written permission.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

We value your privacy. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, store, and protect your data.

8. Events and Competitions

  • Registration: Members who wish to participate in any events, competitions, or tournaments organised by the club must register through the official process and pay any associated fees.

  • Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your registration for an event, please notify us in writing at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.

9. Refunds and Cancellations

  • All classes and private lessons must be prepaid. Refunds for memberships are subject to an administration fee and will only be issued if cancellation notice is given at least 14 days before the start date or 48 hours before an individual lesson.

  • No refunds will be provided for missed weekly sessions. Time credits for individual lessons are non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • The Club’s Management reserves the right to refuse or cancel membership at its discretion without providing a reason.

  • Course cancellations must be made in writing, either via letter or email.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience. However, once you leave our website, we have no control over those websites, and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these external sites.

11. Termination of Membership

  • Voluntary Termination: You may cancel your membership at any time by notifying us in writing. Membership fees are non-refundable.

  • Club’s Right to Terminate: FenCity Fencing Club reserves the right to terminate or suspend your membership if you violate these Terms and Conditions or engage in behavior that is harmful to the club or its members.

12. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties

FenCity Fencing Club makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the use of this site or the information contained within it.
